This will be my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Huntsville Intermediate. I started in 2016 teaching writing and for the last two years I have taught literacy (Phonics & Reading). I will be teaching Phonics and Reading again and really look forward to an amazing year!
Prior to coming to Huntsville, I was a stay at home mom. I raised two beautiful children and was fortunate enough to be able to teach my children their pre-school education. Upon graduating college, I taught one year of Kindergarten.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Les. We have two children. Maddox is nine years old and will be starting the 4th grade this year. He loves drawing, writing stories, baseball, and video games. We also have a daughter, Macy. She is six years old and in 1st grade. Macy loves anything outdoors, gymnastics, drawing, and animals (all animals). We also have two miniature schnauzers, Otis and Beckem and two cats named Precious Waffles and Copper.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a huge football fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Each fall, for the past 9 years, my husband and I have traveled to Dallas to watch a Cowboys game. It is one of our favorite things to do all year. I love to travel and go places I have never been before. As a family, we love fishing, traveling, watching movies, studying the bible, and playing board games. I love this life the Lord has blessed upon me.
